Kedarnath Dham – The Kedarnath Temple is one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva situated at the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. The most remote place of the four dhams, situated an elevation of 3,584 meters – Sri Kedarnath Dham is also considered as Shankaracharya’s samadhi. The temple here is really impressive. Kedara is another name of Lord Shiva which means the protector and the destroyer.

Itinerary

Day 1Delhi – Haridwar (210 kms/5-6 hour’s drive)

Upon arrival in Delhi, welcome to the guests and proceed to Haridwar by road. Reach Haridwar and check-in at hotel. If time permits, enjoy sightseeing of Haridwar, visit to Chandi Devi, Mansa Devi, Daksha Mahadev Temple followed by “Har-Ki-Pauri” to see evening aarti of holy Ganges. Later back to hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2Haridwar – Guptkashi (220 kms/8-9 hour’s drive)

After breakfast, proceed to Guptkashi. On the way visit to Rudranath, Chamunda Devi & Koteshwar Temple in Rudraprayag. Later continue to Guptkashi. Reach Guptkashi and check-in at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3Guptkashi – Kedarnath (30 kms drive & 19 kms trek/ 8-9 hours)

After breakfast, proceed to Gaurikund and start trek to Kedarnath Ji (Height 3584 mts) by pony at your own cost. Reach Kedarnath Ji and check-in at Camp/ Hotel. Later visit to Kedarnath Temple for Darshan. After darshan back to Camp/Hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel/Camps.

Day 4Kedarnath – Guptkashi (19 kms trek & 30 kms drive/ 8-9 hours)

Early morning visit to Kedarnath Temple. Later back to hotel/camps for breakfast. After breakfast, trek down to Gaurikund. On arrival drive to Guptkashi. Reach Guptkashi and check-in at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5Guptkashi – Haridwar (220 kms/8-9 hour’s drive)

After breakfast, proceed to Haridwar. On arrival Check-in at hotel, later visit to “Har-Ki-Pauri” to see evening Aarti of Holy River Ganges. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6Haridwar – Delhi (210 kms/5-6 hour’s drive)

After breakfast, proceed to Delhi. On arrival transfer the guests to Delhi Airport/Railway Station to board the flight/train for onward journey and tour terminates here but sweet memories remain for forever……
