Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Kochi
Upon arrival welcome to the Guests from Kochi (Cochin) Airport and transfer to hotel for check-in. (Kochi is in a stunning location between the Arabian sea and backwaters). Later, visit to St. Francis Church, St. Cruise Basellica, Chinese fishing net, Mattanchery palace, Jewish Synagogue, Marine drive walkway and Marine drive boating at your own cost (The sightseeing will depend on your arrival time in cochin). Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Kochi - Munnar (135 km/3-4 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, proceed to Munnar. (Munnar is beautiful hills station in Kerala and surrounded by the Anamalai hills and witnessing a pleasant weather throughout the year. It is often called lover’s paradise). On the way visit Cheyyappara waterfalls, Valara waterfalls & Tea plantations etc. Later reach Munnar and check-in to the Hotel. Rest of the day at free at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy sightseeing of Munnar, visiting Flower Garden, Honeybee Tree, Mattupetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala lake, Iravikulam National Park (Rajamala), Pothamedu view point and Blossom Park. After sightseeing back to hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Munnar - Thekkady (115 km/3-4 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, proceed to Thekkady (Also known as Periyar). On arrival check-in at hotel. Later visit Periyar Tiger Reserve, Periyar lake followed by boating in Periyar Lake at your own cost. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Thekkady – Alappuzha (140 km/3-4 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, proceed to Alappuzha (Also known Alleppey - It is called Venice of the East. We can see many attractive sceneries such as paddy field, backwaters, villages, coconut trees, Vembanadu lake while sailing. Staying in a moving Alleppey houseboat for 21 hours is a wonderful experience.) In the houseboat you will be treated with drink, snacks, lunch and dinner. Overnight stay and cruise through the houseboat.
Day 6: Alappuzha - Kovalam (175 km/4-5 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, proceed to Kovalam (Kovalam is surrounded by the Sparkling blue waters, silvery white sands, swaying coconut palms). On arrival check-in at hotel, Evening Walk through the beach side and enjoy the evening. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7: Kovalam & Trivandrum Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Padmanabhaswamy temple, Kuthiramalika (Puthenmalika) Palace Museum & Napier Museum, Light House & Kovalam Beach etc. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8: Kovalam – Kochi – Departure (225 km/5-6 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, proceed to Kochi by road. On arrival transfer the guests to Kochi Airport to board the flight for onward journey and tour terminates here but sweet memories remain forever…...
