Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu (Nepal). Welcome to the guests by our company representative & transfer to hotel for check-in. Welcome drink followed by tour briefing by our company representative for the sacred journey of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Evening is free for your own leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Kathmandu – Nepalgunj (by flight)
After breakfast, proceed for the half-day sightseeing to Pashupatinath Temple (One of the oldest and holiest Hindu Temple) and Boudhanath Stupa (Considered as one of the biggest Stupa of the world). After sightseeing transfer to Kathmandu airport to board the flight for Nepalgunj. On arrival in Nepalgunj transfer to hotel for check-in. Overnight stay at hotel in Nepalgunj.
Day 3: Nepalgunj – Simikot (By flight)
After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Simikot (2,910 M). On arrival, welcome and transfer to hotel for check-in. After lunch visit to villages and Shiva temple. Later back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Simikot.
Day 4: Simikot – Hilsa (by flight) – Taklakot
Early morning after breakfast walk to Helipad and fly to Hilsa by chartered Helicopter flight. Arrive Hilsa (3,704 M) (15 minutes flight). Complete the Nepal side immigration formalities and then walk to China side (10 minutes-walk). Meet & greet with Chinese side guide and drivers. Drive to Taklakot (30 Km/ 1 hour’s drive). En-route complete immigration formalities and proceed further. Arrive at Taklakot and check into hotel. Full day free to acclimatize and relax at Taklakot. Overnight stay at Guesthouse in Taklakot.
Day 5: Taklakot – Kailash Mansarovar
After breakfast, drive to Mansarovar (4,556 M) (120 km/ 2 hour’s drive). Perform Puja, Hawan and Devtarpan (self) followed by Mansarovar Parikrama. Lunch & Dinner at Guesthouse. Overnight stay at Mansarovar.
Day 6: Mansarovar – Darchen
Morning holy bath and Puja at Lake Mansarovar. After breakfast, visit Chiu Gompa. Later drive to Darchen (4,675 M) (30 km/1 hour’s drive). Overnight stay at Guesthouse in Darchen.
Day 7: Darchen – Yamadwar – Dirapuk (by trek)
After breakfast, drive to Tarboch Flag Pole with packed lunch, the first prostration point - an auspicious gateway and the sky burial ground (4,675 M) (8 km drive). Meet your porters/pony caretaker and trek to Dirapuk (4765 M) (10 km/ 5-6 hour’s trek). Overnight stay at Guesthouse in Dirapuk.
Day 8: Dirapuk – Zuthulpuk (by trek)
After breakfast, Continue Parikrama over Droma La Pass (5,585 M) to Zuthul Puk (22 Km/ 7-8 hour’s trek). Overnight stay at Guesthouse in Zuthulpuk.
Day 9: Zuthulpuk – Darchen (by trek) – Taklakot
After breakfast, last and final day of Mt. Kailash Parikrama ends near Darchen (4,664 M) (14 KM/ 3-4 hour’s trek). Drive to Taklakot (150 km/2 hour’s). Arrive at Taklakot (3,500 M) and check into hotel. Overnight stay at Guesthouse in Taklakot.
Day 10: Taklakot – Hilsa – Nepalgunj Via Simikot (by flight)
After breakfast, drive to Hilsa. En-route complete Immigration of China Side. Continue drive to Hilsa & walk to Nepal side immigration, complete Immigration of Nepal side and walk to Hilsa Helipad for Chartered Helicopter flight to Simikot. Arrive Simikot and changed the flight for Nepalgunj. Arrive Nepalgunj and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Nepalgunj.
Day 11: Nepalgunj – Kathmandu by flight
After breakfast, transfer the guests to Nepalgunj airport to board the flight for Kathmandu. On arrival transfer the guests to hotel for check-in. Later visit Pashupatinath Temple Holy water offering. Late evening enjoys Kailash Yatra certificate distribution ceremony followed by dinner. Overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 12: Departure
After breakfast, transfer the guests to Kathmandu airport to board the flight for onward journey and tour terminates here but sweet memories remain forever…...
