Overview
Kayaking is one of the major activities in Rishikesh as every year local tour operators organize a lot of kayaking events where thousands of tourists come from all over the world to participate in this exciting event. It is a game of pure technique consisting of balance and basic controls along with turning strokes and pedaling strokes. The plastic water boats are known as kayaks and the internal structure is designed with double blade paddles to traverse the fast-moving river water, obstacles and rapids along the Ganges River.

Tour Conditions
- Minimum of 1-2 persons required.
- Maximum weight up to 40-90 kg.
- Maximum Age up to 18-50 years depend on Medical & Physical fitness.
- The entire process takes 3-4-hour time, including safety brief and instructions.
- Confirmation only on receipt of 50% advance payment.
- Balance payment to be deposited two weeks prior to travel date.
- Full advance payment to be deposited, in case the booking is made in less than 15 days of travelling date.
- Ashoka India Tours carries no insurance whatsoever for the tour participants. Hence it is advisable to get travel insurance by your own.
- All rates & bookings will be subject to availability.
- Mentioned special package rates are valid till 31st March 2026.
Important Note
- Activity timings: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Listen to all instructions carefully by the instructor before and after the activity.
- Valid ID proof is mandatory for each guest to be shown on arrival before starting any activity.
- Instructor reserves the right to reject any participant deemed ineligible to be part of the activity.
- Avoid consumption of alcoholic beverages. Otherwise, the instructor reserves the right to disqualify the intoxicated participant and no refund will be given in such circumstances.
- Participants are not allowed to carry any type of alcohol, hand bags, sharp objects like knives during the activity.
- You will be informed about the next best possible time slot. In case of delay in activity due to bad weather conditions or any unforeseen reason.
