Ladakh – Ladakh is often called “Roof of the World” as it is one of the highest regions of the world. The climate of Ladakh is cold and dry through-out the year as snow is frequent and falls heavily specially in winters. October to March is considered winter season in North India and Ladakh is situated in Northern Himalayan region.
Ladakh was a part of Jammu & Kashmir before the abrogation of Article 370. But it was declared a separate Union Territory by the Government of India on 31 October 2019 after the abrogation of Article 370.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Srinagar
Upon arrival welcome to the guests & transfer to Deluxe Houseboat at Dal Lake. Later enjoy tour of Mughal gardens, visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure), Chashmashahi (The Royal Spring) and Shalimar Garden (Abode of love). Evening romantic ride by Shikara to visit Floating Gardens, Lotus Gardens and inside of the Lake. Dinner & overnight stay at Deluxe Houseboat.
Day 2: Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar (55 kms/2 hour’s drive-One side)
After breakfast, full day excursion to Gulmarg (Gulmarg-The Meadow of flowers situated at an altitude of 2730 meters - one of the most beautiful summer/winter resorts in the valley). Walks on the lush green meadows of flowers with a backdrop of the snowcapped mountains. One can have a gondola ride (cable car) at own cost from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg to have a real view in natural beauty of the summer and full snow view in winter. You can have a pony ride at your own cost in the open fields to seven springs and to a lake, which remains frozen until June. Later drive back to Srinagar. Dinner & overnight stay at Deluxe Houseboat.
Day 3: Srinagar – Pahalgam – Srinagar (95 kms/3 hour’s drive-One side)
After breakfast, full day excursion to Pahalgam (The Valley of Shepherds, is one of the beautiful and fascinating ideal resorts all the year round. It is the base for several treks in the region. Situated at the confluence of the Lidder River and set amidst fir and pine covered mountains, one can have a real feeling of Paradise). You can enjoy the pony ride to Shikargah & Baisaran at your own cost. Later drive back to Srinagar. Dinner & overnight stay at Deluxe Houseboat.
Day 4: Srinagar – Sonamarg – Kargil (205 km/6-7 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Kargil pass through the panoramic village and reach Sonamarg (2740 Meters). After Sonamarg, drive through most rough and wet road of Zojila pass (3527 Meters) which is a Gateway of Ladakh. Continue drive towards Drass (The second coldest inhibited place in the World). We stop here for tea and Passport checking. Another two and half hour’s drive will take us to Kargil (2710 Meters) which does have its importance after opening of Ladakh for tourists in 1974. Reach Kargil and check-in at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Kargil – Leh (220 km/5-6 hour’s drive)
After early breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Leh via Namkila Pass (3600 Meters) and Fotu La Pass (4000 Meters). En-route visit Mulbekh Chamba (Future Buddha Statue) and Lamayuru Monastery. Later continue to Leh. On arrival check-in at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
(Leh is situated at a height of 3505 meters and is towards the eastern parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Leh is the capital of Ladakh. The region is watered by the Zanskar River, which flows into the Indus River just below. Spilling out of a side valley that tapers north towards eroded snow-capped peaks, the Ladakhi capital sprawls from the foot of a ruined Tibetan style palace - a maze of mud-brick and concrete flanked on one side by cream-colored desert, and on the other by a swathe of lush irrigated farmland. Leh is a beautiful destination with so many attractions and is the center of Tibetan-Buddhist Culture for ages. Its colorful gompas have attracted the devout Buddhists from all over the globe. Besides, it is also a favorite hiking locale and is known for some of the best hikes in the country.)
Day 6: Leh – Khardung La Pass – Leh (40 km/1 hour’s drive-one side)
After breakfast, full day excursion to Khardung La pass (It has been recorded in the Guineas Book of world Records due to highest motorable road in the world at an altitude of 18390 feet or 5600 Meters above sea level). Enjoy the beauty of snow-capped mountains at the top (18,390 feet). In the late afternoon drive back to Leh. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7: Leh – Pangong lake – Leh (160 km/ 4-5 hour’s drive-one side)
After breakfast, full day excursion to Pangong Lake via Shooting Point/ Spangmik. On the way enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the villages. On arrival enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake (This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is about 5 Kms wide and over 135 Kms long with half of it’s running the other side of the "INDO CHINA BORDER"). Visit the exact location of the famous movie “Three idiots”. Enjoy rare nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Later in the evening drive back to Leh. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8: Departure
After breakfast, transfer the guests to Leh Airport to board the flight for onward journey and tour terminates here but sweet memories remain forever...
