Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Srinagar
Upon arrival welcome to the guests & transfer to Deluxe Houseboat at Dal Lake. Later enjoy tour of Mughal gardens, visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure), Chashmashahi (The Royal Spring) and Shalimar Garden (Abode of love). Evening romantic ride by Shikara to visit Floating Gardens, Lotus Gardens and inside of the Lake. Dinner & overnight stay at Deluxe Houseboat.
Day 2: Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar (80 kms/3 hour’s drive–One side)
After breakfast, full day excursion to Sonamarg, (Sonmarg - The Golden Meadow lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lakes), Enjoy horse riding upto Thajwas glacier and sledge riding on snow at your own cost. Later drive back to Srinagar. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Srinagar – Gulmarg (55 kms/2 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, check-out from the Houseboat and drive to Gulmarg. On arrival check-in at hotel. (Gulmarg-The Meadow of flowers situated at an altitude of 2730 meters - one of the most beautiful summer/winter resorts in the valley). Walks on the lush green meadows of flowers with a backdrop of the snowcapped mountains. One can have a gondola ride (cable car) at own cost from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg to have a real view in natural beauty of the summer and full snow view in winter. You can have a pony ride at your own cost in the open fields to seven springs and to a lake, which remains frozen until June. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Gulmarg – Pahalgam (140 kms/4-5 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Pahalgam via Awantipora ruins and Saffron fields. (Pahalgam - The Valley of Shepherds, is one of the beautiful and fascinating ideal resorts all the year round. It is the base for several treks in the region. Situated at the confluence of the Lidder River and set amidst fir and pine covered mountains, one can have a real feeling of Paradise). Reach Pahalgam and check-in at hotel. Later you can enjoy the pony ride to Shikargah & Baisaran at your own cost. After sightseeing back to hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Pahalgam – Katra (235 kms/6-7 hrs drive)
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Katra. On arrival check-in at hotel. En-route pass through the Jawahar Tunnel (3 kms long under mountain which will take you 20-25 minutes time to cross the Jammu & Kashmir Regions), Ramban, Patnitop & Kud. Reach Katra and check-in at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6: Katra – Vaishno Devi – Katra
After breakfast, leave for Darshan of Maa Vaishno Devi Ji in the Trikuta Hills by foot. The walk to the shrine is 12 kms long. Later in the evening back to hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast, transfer the guests to Jammu airport/Railway station to board the flight/train for onward journey and tour terminates here but sweet memories remain forever...
