Zipline in Rishikesh
Overview
The zipline can be done alone and is the only activity in Rishikesh that operates 200 feet above the white-water rapids above the Ganges River. Accelerate up to a speed of over 140 kmph and you are finally pulled back to the launch platform by the recovery mechanism. As you will be attached to the wire and when released by gravity roll the wire 70 meters above the river level and then go up. Finally returning and settling at the lowest point.

The base station of the Zipline activity is located in Shivpuri which is 16 km away from Rishikesh (Rishikesh-Badrinath highway). This activity can be clubbed with stay in Jungle Camps located near the activity point and enjoy several other activities River Rafting and night stay at Camps close to nature.

- Cameras are strictly prohibited on or near the Zipline zone for safety reasons, and are not negotiable. Videos can be purchased separately, in-store.

- Any medical facility in case of accident.

Tour Conditions
- Minimum of 1-2 persons required.
- Maximum weight up to 20-110 kg.
- Maximum Age up to 12-50 years depend on Medical & Physical fitness.
- The entire process takes 1-hour time, including safety brief and instructions.
- Confirmation only on receipt of 50% advance payment.
- Balance payment to be deposited two weeks prior to travel date.
- Full advance payment to be deposited, in case the booking is made in less than 15 days of travelling date.
- Ashoka India Tours carries no insurance whatsoever for the tour participants. Hence it is advisable to get travel insurance by your own.
- All rates & bookings will be subject to availability.
- Mentioned special package rates are valid till 31st March 2026.
Important Note
- Activity timings: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM in Summers and 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in winters.
- Listen to all instructions carefully by the instructor before and after the activity.
- Valid ID proof is mandatory for each guest to be shown on arrival before starting any activity.
- This activity is strictly avoidable for pregnant women, high BP patients or anyone with a serious illness, a broken arm/leg, and a person who has had a recent major surgery.
- It is recommended to have a light meal before this activity. Avoid to take heavy meals.
- Instructor reserves the right to reject any participant deemed ineligible to be part of the activity.
- Avoid consumption of alcoholic beverages. Otherwise, the instructor reserves the right to disqualify the intoxicated participant and no refund will be given in such circumstances.
- Participants are not allowed to carry any type of alcohol, hand bags, sharp objects like knives during the activity.
- You will be informed about the next best possible time slot. In case of delay in activity due to bad weather conditions or any unforeseen reason.
