Overview
Holy Amarnath Cave opens every year in the month of June for pilgrims and usually there is a big Festival in the 3rd week of August every year thousands of people from all over the country and from different parts of the world visit this Cave. The sacred Cave contains a Shiva Lingam formed of Ice, the size of which increases or decreases according to the position of the Moon. The Holy cave is situated in Jammu & Kashmir and lying at a height of 3952 Meters. It is a famous holy place of pilgrimage for the Hindus and is held in the same veneration as Mount Kailash in Tibet.

Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at Srinagar – Sonmarg
Upon arrival at Srinagar airport our representative will meet you and transfer you to Sonmarg which is 93 Kms/ 3 & ½ hour’s drive via river Sindh, on arrival in Sonamarg check in at hotel/ Camps, Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel/Swiss Camps.
Day 02: Sonmarg – Neelgranth – Panchtarni – Neelgranth – Srinagar
After breakfast leave for Neelgrath which is 2 Kms from Sonamarg. Once you reach Neelgrath you will go through security checking for the helicopter. Thereafter you will board the helicopter for Panchtarni. Each Helicopter will take 4 or 6 passengers at a time. Once you arrive in Panchtarni walk to Cave which is a steep 6 km uphill journey and will take 3-4 hours. Darshan of Amarnath. Return from cave to Panchtarni, it is steep down and will take only 2 hours to come down to Panchtarni, then board Helicopter for Neelgrath. After all the passengers are back from Cave, we will drive to Thajiwas Glacier where one can walk to the Glacier or enjoy ponies ride. Later leave for Srinagar which is 100 Kms/3-4 hour’s drive, on arrival check in at hotel, Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Srinagar Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy sightseeing of famous Mughal Gardens, visit to Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure), Chashmeshahi (The Royal Spring) and Shalimar Garden (Abode of love). Afternoon free for shopping & viewing the local handicrafts like Walnut wood carvings, crewel work articles, carpets & paper Mache articles etc. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar
After breakfast, excursion to Gulmarg (Gulmarg-The Meadow of flowers (56 kms /2 hour’s) situated at an altitude of 2730 meters), Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful summer/winter resorts in the valley. One can have a gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg to have a real view in natural beauty of the summer and full snow view in winter. You can have a pony ride in the open fields to seven springs and to a lake, which remains frozen until June. After sightseeing back to Srinagar, Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Srinagar – Pahalgam – Srinagar
After breakfast, proceed to Pahalgam (125 KM/ 3-4 hour’s, Pahalgam - The Valley of Shepherds). On the way, visiting Saffron fields. Reach Pahalgam and enjoy sightseeing of Pahalgam by local jeeps at your own cost, after sightseeing back to hotel Srinagar and check-in at Houseboat to get real taste of Kashmir. Dinner & Overnight stay at Houseboat.
Day 06: Departure
Early morning, enjoy Lake Ride by Shikara to visit Floating Gardens, Lotus Gardens, Charchinar, Kaboter Khana (Pigeon Palace) inside the lake, later back to Houseboat for breakfast. After breakfast, transfer the guests to Srinagar airport to board the flight for onward journey and tour terminates here but sweet memories remain for forever…...
