The four Dhams of Uttarakhand are Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. Every year the Char Dham Yatra starts either in the last week of April or in the month of May. Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Dehradun – Barkot
Morning, pick up the guests from Dehradun/ Haridwar and proceed to Barkot (210 km/ 4-5 hour’s drive). On the way visiting Kempty fall in Mussoorie (depend on route & time). Later continue to Barkot. On arrival check-in at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Full day excursion to Yamunotri Temple
After breakfast, proceed to Janki Chatti (30 km drive/ 6 km trek-one side) from where trek starts for Yamunotri Temple (One can go by walk or by pony/horse at their own cost). Reach Yamunotri Temple and have a "Darshan" of pious "Yamunaji". After "Puja" (Prayer) drive back to Barkot. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Barkot – Uttarkashi
After breakfast, proceed to Uttarkashi (100 km/ 3-4 hour’s drive). On arrival check-in at hotel. Later visit to Vishwanath Temple and in the same complex visit to Shakti Temple, Ganesh Ji, Sakshi Gopal and Markandeya Rishi’s Small Shrine followed by Evening Aarti. Later back to hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Excursion to Gangotri Temple
After breakfast, proceed to Gangotri Temple (Hight 3048 mts) (100 km/ 3-4 hour’s drive-One side), on the way visiting picturesque Harsil village, Bhagirathi River and the most magnificent view of the Himalayas. After Gangotri Temple Darshan drive back to Uttarkashi. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi
After breakfast, proceed to Guptkashi (220 km/ 8-9 hour’s drive). On the way visit to Rudranath & Chamunda Devi Temple in Rudraprayag (Depend on route & time). Later continue to Guptkashi. Reach Guptkashi and check-in at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06: Guptkashi – Kedarnath – Badrinath by Helicopter
After breakfast, proceed to Phata/ Guptkashi Helipad. Board the chopper (Helicopter) for Kedarnath Ji (as per boarding time schedule). After VIP darshan of Kedarnath Temple fly back to Phata/ Guptkashi Helipad. Later board the helicopter for Badrinath. On arrival take lunch at hotel in Badrinath. After VIP darshan of Badrinath Temple fly back to Guptkashi Helipad. On arrival transfer to hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07: Guptkashi – Rishikesh
After breakfast, proceed to Rishikesh (185 km/ 6-7 hour’s drive). On arrival check-in at hotel. Later visit to Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Bharat Mata Temple, Shivanand Ashram followed by evening Aarti at Swarg Ashram. Later back to hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08: Rishikesh – Dehradun
After breakfast, transfer the guests to Dehradun airport or Haridwar Railway to board the flight/train for onward journey and tour terminates here but sweet memories remain for forever…...

Tour Conditions
- Minimum of 06 persons required.
- All rates & bookings will be subject to availability.
- Maximum 6 Passengers/Guests will be allowed in 01 Helicopter with a total body weight of upto 450 kg.
- Children above the age of 2 years will be considered full ticket. Infant below 2 years are carried free of charge, in case of dispute birth certificate can prevail.
- There is no provision of concession to children or senior citizens for helicopter yatra
- All rates & bookings will be subject to availability.
- Tour confirmation only on receipt of 50% advance payment.
- Balance payment to be deposited 01 month prior to travel date.
- Ashoka India Tours carries no insurance whatsoever for the tour participants. Hence it is advisable to get travel insurance by your own.
