Chardham Yatra Hemkund Sahib-Valley of Flowers
Overview
Chardham of Uttarakhand are namely Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. Every year Chardham Yatra starts either in April last week or in May month. All these sacred sites are located in the remote area of Himalayan region. Every year millions of pilgrims come to visit these sacred places across the world with Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara and Valley of Flowers as the trek of both these sites also open for tourists and pilgrims from second week of May.

Itinerary
Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar
Upon arrival in Delhi, welcome to the guests and proceed to Haridwar by road (210 km/ 4-5 hour’s drive). Reach Haridwar and check-in at hotel. If time permits, enjoy sightseeing of Haridwar, visit to Chandi Devi, Mansa Devi, Daksha Mahadev Temple followed by “Har-Ki-Pauri” to see evening aarti of holy Ganges. Later back to hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Haridwar – Barkot
After breakfast, proceed to Barkot (210 km/ 4-5 hour’s drive). On the way visiting Kempty fall in Mussoorie (depend on route & time). Later continue to Barkot. On arrival check-in at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Full day excursion to Yamunotri Temple
After breakfast, proceed to Janki Chatti (30 km drive/ 6 km trek-one side) from where trek starts for Yamunotri Temple (One can go by walk or by pony/horse at their own cost). Reach Yamunotri Temple and have a "Darshan" of pious "Yamunaji". After "Puja" (Prayer) drive back to Barkot. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Barkot – Uttarkashi
After breakfast, proceed to Uttarkashi (100 km/ 3-4 hour’s drive). On arrival check-in at hotel. Later visit to Vishwanath Temple and in the same complex visit to Shakti Temple, Ganesh Ji, Sakshi Gopal and Markandeya Rishi’s Small Shrine followed by Evening Aarti. Later back to hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Excursion to Gangotri Temple
After breakfast, proceed to Gangotri Temple (Hight 3048 mts) (100 km/ 3-4 hour’s drive-One side), on the way visiting picturesque Harsil village, Bhagirathi River and the most magnificent view of the Himalayas. After Gangotri Temple Darshan drive back to Uttarkashi. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi
After breakfast, proceed to Guptkashi (220 km/ 8-9 hour’s drive). On the way visit to Rudranath & Chamunda Devi Temple in Rudraprayag (Depend on route & time). Later continue to Guptkashi. Reach Guptkashi and check-in at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07: Guptkashi – Gaurikund – Kedarnath
After breakfast, proceed to Gaurikund (30 km/ 1 hour’s drive) and start trek to Kedarnath Ji (Height 3584 mts) by pony/ palki at your own cost. Reach Kedarnath Ji and check-in at hotel/government camps. Later visit to Kedarnath Temple for Darshan. After darshan back to hotel/camps. Overnight stay at hotel/ government camps.
Day 08: Kedarnath – Gaurikund – Guptkashi
Early morning visit Kedarnath Temple. Later trek down to Gaurikund. On arrival drive to Guptkashi (30 km/ 1 hour’s drive) and. Reach Guptkashi & check-in at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 09: Guptkashi – Badrinath
After breakfast, proceed to Badrinath Jee (Height 3,133 mts) (210 km/ 8-9 hour’s drive). On the way visit to Narsingh Temple in Joshimath. Later continue drive to Badrinath, on arrival check-in at hotel. Evening visit to Badrinath Temple to see evening Aarti of Badrinath Temple, later back to hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10: Badrinath – Govindghat – Ghangaria
Early morning, take a bath in Taptkund & have a darshan of Badrivishal. Later back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, later visit to Mana village and see Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Bhim Pul and the “Mukh” of the Saraswati River. After sightseeing proceed to Govindghat (21 km/ 1 hour’s drive). Reach Govindghat and start trek to Ghangaria (5 km drive by local jeep & 13 km trek/ 7-8 hours). Reach Ghangaria and check-in at hotel/camps. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel/ Camps.
Day 11: Ghangaria – Hemkund Sahib – Ghangaria
After breakfast, start trek to Hemkund Sahib and visit Gurdwara of Guru Gobind Singh (6 km trek/ 4-5 hours-one side). It is believed that the tenth Guru of Sikhs have meditated here in his previous birth. A gurdwara stands here in his memory on the bank of a sacred lake. Later trek back to hotel/Camps. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel/Camps.
Day 12: Ghangaria – Valley of Flowers – Ghangaria
After breakfast, start trek to Valley of flower (4 km trek/ 3-4 hours-one side), on arrival explore the valley and witness the rare Himalayan flora, Brahm Kamal (Saussurea Obvolata), Himalayan Blue Poppy (Meconopsis Aculata) etc. Later trek back to hotel/Camps. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel/Camps.
Day 13: Ghangaria – Joshimath
After breakfast, start trek to Govindghat (13 km trek & 5 km drive by local jeep/ 6-7 hours). Reach Govindghat and drive to Joshimath (25 km/ 1 hour’s drive). On arrival check-in at hotel. Later visit to Narsingh Temple and Shankaracharya Math. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 14: Joshimath – Rishikesh – Haridwar
After breakfast, proceed to Haridwar (275 km/ 7-8 hour’s drive). On the way visit to Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Bharat Mata Temple, Sivananda & Swarg Ashram in Rishikesh. Later continue to Haridwar. On arrival check-in at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 15: Haridwar – Delhi
After breakfast, proceed to Delhi (210 km/ 4-5 hour’s drive). On arrival transfer the guests to Delhi Airport/Railway Station to board the flight/train for onward journey and tour terminates here but sweet memories remain for forever…...
