Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Guwahati
Upon arrival welcome to the Guests from Guwahati Airport. Meet & greet with our Company representative and you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Later visit Balaji temple and Sankardeva Kalakhetra. In the evening enjoy optional Sunset River Cruise over the Brahmaputra River (Cruise is subject to availability & weather conditions). Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Guwahati – Pobitara Sanctuary (80 km/2 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and visit to Kamakhya Temple, Navagraha Temple, Umananda Temple followed by State Zoo. You may enjoy the ethnic Assamese lunch at specialized Restaurants at your own cost. Later drive to Pobitara. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Pobitara – Kaziranga (130 km/3-4 hour’s drive)
Early morning, enjoy Elephant ride inside the Sanctuary. Later back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast enjoy Jeep safari inside the Sanctuary. Later, check-out from the hotel and drive to Kaziranga. On arrival check-in at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Kaziranga National Park
Early morning, enjoy Elephant ride inside the National Park (Elephant ride timing: 1st Ride- 5.15 to 6.15 AM, 2nd Ride: 6.30 to 7.30 AM). Later back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast free at leisure or you can visit to rubber plantations and tea plantations. After lunch Jeep safari in the Central Range. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Kaziranga – Shillong (230 km/5-6 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Shillong. On the way visit Umium Lake, Ward’s Lake and Lady Hyderi Park etc. Later check-in at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6: Shillong – Jowai (65 km/2 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Jowai. On arrival check-in at hotel. Later visit to the Krang Suri Falls famous for its crystal-clear blue water and Tyrshi waterfalls followed by visit to Durga Temple, Monoliths and the stone bridge which was built and used by the Jaintia Kings. After sightseeing back to hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7: Jowai – Shnongpdeng (Dawki) (60 km/2 hour’s drive)
After breakfast. check out from the hotel and drive to Mawlynnong. On arrival visit Asia's cleanest village, here you can enjoy a short trek to reach the Single Decker Root Bridge followed by see the Balancing Rock. Next visit to Dawki, a small town in West Jaintia Hills District of Meghalaya, where boat rides on the Tamabil River can be enjoyed, locally known as Umngot which is shared by India and Bangladesh. Next visit to the Indo Bangladesh border and finally, drive to Shnongpdeng. On arrival check-in at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8: Shnongpdeng – Cherrapunji (95 km/3 hour’s drive) - Shillong (60 km/2 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Cherrapunji (Cherrapunji or Cherrapunjee popularly known as Sohra Town and is one of the popular tourist destinations of Meghalaya which is known as the wettest place on the earth). On arrival, visit Dwan Syiem view point, Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Caves, Arwah Caves, Seven Sister Falls and Eco Park etc. Later drive to Shillong. On the way visit to Shillong Peak & Elephant Falls. On arrival check-in at hotel. In the evening, you can go for shopping at Police Bazaar area. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 9: Shillong – Guwahati – Departure (120 km/3 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer the guests to Guwahati Airport to board the flight for onward journey and tour terminates here but sweet memories remain forever...
