Overview
Kashmir - is one of the favorite places for honeymooners and trekkers. The Paradise on earth, famous for its beautiful valleys, lakes adorned with Shikaras, Mughal Gardens and houseboats.
Ladakh – Ladakh is often called “Roof of the World” as it is one of the highest regions of the world. The climate of Ladakh is cold and dry through-out the year as snow is frequent and falls heavily specially in winters. October to March is considered winter season in North India and Ladakh is situated in Northern Himalayan region.
Ladakh was a part of Jammu & Kashmir before the abrogation of Article 370. But it was declared a separate Union Territory by the Government of India on 31 October 2019 after the abrogation of Article 370.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Srinagar
Upon arrival welcome to the guests & transfer to Deluxe Houseboat at Dal Lake. Later enjoy tour of Mughal gardens, visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure), Chashmashahi (The Royal Spring) and Shalimar Garden (Abode of love). Evening romantic ride by Shikara to visit Floating Gardens, Lotus Gardens and inside of the Lake. Dinner & overnight stay at Deluxe Houseboat.
Day 2: Srinagar – Sonamarg – Kargil (205 km/7-8 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Kargil pass through the panoramic village and reach Sonamarg (2740 Meters). After Sonamarg, drive through most rough and wet road of Zojila pass (3527 Meters) which is a Gateway of Ladakh. Continue drive towards Drass (The second coldest inhibited place in the World). We stop here for tea and Passport checking. Another two and half hour’s drive will take us to Kargil (2710 Meters) which does have its importance after opening of Ladakh for tourists in 1974. Reach Kargil and check-in at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Kargil – Rangdum (130 km/4-5 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive towards Zanaskar valley on the way see Panikhar and Parkachik village with a view of Nun & Kun peaks. Reach Rangdum and check-in at Camps. Dinner & overnight stay in Camps.
Day 4: Rangdum – Padam (115 km/3-4 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, we visit Rangdum Gompa. Later check-out from Camps and drive to Padam which is the capital of Zanaskar valley. First, we cross via Pensi La Pass (4401 Meters) and see some ancient Buddhist villages and next we cross Tungri bridge and visit Sunni Gompa. Later we will be reaching Padam and check-in at Camps. Dinner & overnight stay in Camps.
Day 5: Padam Sightseeing
After breakfast, full day visit Pipitong Gompa, Thonde Gompa followed by Ancient Zangla Gompa in the most beautiful village of Zangla (3450 Meters). We may get a chance to visit queen's house at Zangla village. Later, on our way back to Padam visit one of the oldest Monasteries - Karsha Gompa. Dinner & overnight stay in Camps.
Day 6: Padam - Kargil (240 km/7-8 hour’s drive
After breakfast, check-out from the Camps and drive to Kargil. Reach Kargil and check-in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7: Kargil – Uleytokpo (150 km/5-6 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, check-out from the Camps and drive to Leh via Namkila Pass (3600 Meters) and Fotu La Pass (4000 Meters). En-route visit Mulbekh Chamba (Future Buddha Statue) and Lamayuru Monastery. Later continue drive to Uleytokpo. On arrival check-in at Camps. Later you may visit to Rizong Gompa which is a 5 km walk to and fro. Dinner & overnight stay in Camps.
Day 8: Uleytokpo – Alchi - Leh (80 km/2-3 hour’s drive)
After breakfast, check-out from the Camps and drive to Alchi. On arrival visit Alchi Monastery. Later continue to Leh. Reach Leh and check-in at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
(Leh is situated at a height of 3505 meters and is towards the eastern parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Leh is the capital of Ladakh. The region is watered by the Zanskar River, which flows into the Indus River just below. Spilling out of a side valley that tapers north towards eroded snow-capped peaks, the Ladakhi capital sprawls from the foot of a ruined Tibetan style palace - a maze of mud-brick and concrete flanked on one side by cream-colored desert, and on the other by a swathe of lush irrigated farmland. Leh is a beautiful destination with so many attractions and is the center of Tibetan-Buddhist Culture for ages. Its colorful gompas have attracted the devout Buddhists from all over the globe. Besides, it is also a favorite hiking locale and is known for some of the best hikes in the country.)
Day 9: Leh – Monasteries (Thiksey, Hemis & Shey)
After early breakfast, full day excursion to Thiksey Monastery (It is better to visit early morning to see sunrise and prayer ceremony - Thiksey Monastery is around 500 years old. It contains a three-story high statue of Maitreya, the future Buddha), Later visit to Hemis Monastery (Hemis Monastery is the largest and one of the most important monasteries in Ladakh) followed by “3 idiots” School (famous after Hindi movie - 3 idiots). On the way back to Leh visit Shey Monastery (Shey – The summer palace of the king of Ladakh, built around 550 years ago and It has the largest Buddha statue in Asia made of copper). Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10: Leh – Pangong lake – Leh (160 km/4-5 hour’s drive-one side)
After breakfast, full day excursion to Pangong Lake via Shooting Point/ Spangmik. On the way enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the villages. On arrival enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake (This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is about 5 Kms wide and over 135 Kms long with half of it’s running the other side of the "INDO CHINA BORDER"). Visit the exact location of the famous movie “Three idiots”. Enjoy rare nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Later in the evening drive back to Leh. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11: Departure
After breakfast, transfer the guests to Leh Airport to board the flight for onward journey and tour terminates here but sweet memories remain forever...
